TF Value-Mart Fun Run 2024
3,000 Runners Participate in the 2024 TF Value-Mart Fun Run in Tambun, Perak
In its second year, the TF Value-Mart Fun Run continued to be a highlight on the calendars of running enthusiasts in Tambun, Perak. On Sunday, May 5th, 2024, the town came alive with the sound of footsteps as 3,000 eager runners took to the streets for a thrilling 5km run.
This year’s run was made possible by the generous support of 19 sponsors, including renowned brands such as 100 PLUS, ADABI, ANTABAX, CED, FONTERRA, FFM, FORRERO, JULIE’S, KHAISHEN TRADING, LACTEL, MONDELEZ, MAMEE, NESTLE, OLIGO, P&G SAJI, TECHNO FRESH, UNILEVER, and YEOS. Their contributions helped create an unforgettable experience for all participants.
The event kicked off at 7:30 AM with the flag-off. Runners completed the 5km route within approximately one hour, enjoying a vibrant atmosphere filled with supportive cheers and camaraderie. Post-race, participants were treated to a variety of activities including:
- Booths and Food Sampling: Participants explored various booths featuring food samples from the event sponsors.
- Zumba Session: A lively Zumba session kept the energy high and provided a fun way to cool down after the run.
- Lucky Draw: Exciting prizes were up for grabs, adding an element of surprise and delight.
- Carnival Games: Fun-filled carnival games were available, ensuring entertainment for all ages.
The event concluded at 9:30 AM, leaving participants with fond memories and a sense of accomplishment.
